La Beauté
La Quotidienne

La Beauté de la Quotidienne means "The Beauty of Everyday Life" and is the name of my debut solo art exhibition. Beginning October 9th and going through December 29th of 2021, a new collection of my art will be hanging in the Lilburn Activity Building, a local Gwinnett Parks & Recreation community location that provides classes, event space, and meetings for Lilburn and Gwinnett county residents.

This collection captures the beauty I have found and imagined in the last year with florals, landcapes, and abstracts I have painted in both acrylic and watercolor.

Please join me by stopping by to view my paintings! An Artist's reception will be held on October 15th from 7-9pm. See details below.

Tranquility Collection

The Tranquility Collection was inspired by my time in Portland, Maine. My time by the Atlantic ocean in this beautiful and tranquil city was soul feeding. This is a limited collection of twelve small paintings of seascapes from pictures I took while I was there.

30% of the proceeds of this collection will be donated to my high school classmate and friend, Heather Bullock. Heather suffered a stroke in February of this year, which paralyzed her right leg, ankle, and foot, rendering her unable to do her life's work as a stylist. As a small business owner, this sudden emergent event, changed her life, but it has not broken her strong spirit.

Watercolors provide color transparency in paintings that other paints do not. I love the way it flows, moves, and mixes on paper.

Acrylics enable me to play with rich textures. Impressionistic painting in acrylic is my favorite style.
