Terms & Conditions
Our policy is that we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. As a result, we strive to ensure that we provide accurate information, including sizing, medium, and content of each piece prior to your purchase. If you have questions about an item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your purchase. We will be happy to get back with you as soon as we can and provide you with any information you request.
Processing & Delivery
Items purchased from our Gift Shop will take 5-7 days to process, as each piece is handmade for you, and in some cases, are made to order after a purchase has been made.
Small gift items will be shipped First Class via USPS, unless other arrangements are made for expedited shipping.
Upon shipping your item, we will provide you with a tracking number for you to track your package. Please note: Due to Covid-19, shipping delays should be expected. As a result, some items may not arrive until after the original estimated arrival date. We will do our best to help if there are issues with delivery, but any inquiries into an undelivered package should be addressed with the shipping carrier.
For original artwork listed on our site, please note that drying times for pieces may take additional time, and as a result may delay shipping times. Plein de Bonté will contact you to give you an estimate of when to expect your purchased piece to be shipped. Please note that processing and shipping times may take up to 6-8 weeks.
For commissioned pieces, the artist will contact you regarding your request to discuss your vision and determine if the piece is a possibility. Please note that I am not a portrait artist and cannot accommodate those requests.
Due to the nature of commissioned pieces, please note that cancellations must be made prior to the work's completion. Art cancelled prior to completion will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations cannot be made after work is completed.
Please allow for 6-12 weeks for commissioned pieces to be processed prior to shipping.

Because all artwork is original, including gift items, all sales are final and cannot be returned.
We take time to carefully package each item to avoid damage. However, we do understand that there are times when items are damaged in transit. It's an unfortunate situation.
If your item is damaged in transit, please document the damage, including the original packaging and pictures of the damaged items, and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also need proof of purchase, such as the original receipt. We will work hard to make things right. If we cannot replace/exchange the damaged item with a like item, we will be happy to provide a full refund minus shipping costs. We will contact you if this is the case in your situation.
Upon shipping your item, we will provide you with a tracking number for you to track your package. If you believe your item is lost or stolen, please first double check your shipping address to ensure that it was accurate. If it is accurate, please contact the shipping service to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, Plein de Bonte Studios cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items and are unable to deal with failed delivery or theft issues directly.
If a package is unable to be delivered and is returned to us, we will be happy to resend the package, but we do ask that you pay for the additional postage.
